Clinic Day 3. It's a gorgeous day, 58F, we arrived to the clinic bright & early. Several hundred Paraguayan were already lined up with big smiles when they saw us. Some even clapped and greeted us in their native language, Guarani. David Berumen, our Mission Manager informs us that we will probably see more than 2,000 recipients today, we all cheer. Our Lions Club hosts hooked up an iPod to the PA system and everyone is enjoying music from the 80's. "Bon Dia," or Good Morning is the standard greeting here in Paraguay. The official languages are Guarani & Spanish.
"This is my first mission and I am really enjoying it. I feel like I am really making a difference. It's amazing the number of people we are seeing. Paraguay is beautiful and the people are warm and very grateful. I hope to go on many more missions!" Dr Kristin Person, Delhi, Ontario, Canada
